Not just the grass that’s greener at FGR… Forest Green Rovers Football Club have been certified OUTSTANDING by global certification and standards body AGF – through their Greener Arena certification scheme. Globally Forest Green Rovers not only the first football club to achieve this standard, but also the first arena.

The Greener Arena certification from AGF is considered the gold standard in the certification industry. AGF have a track record of 17 years innovation and certification globally.

Sustainability is written into our DNA, it’s not a bolt on or after thought. We’ve been measuring and reducing our impacts for over a decade and we know how far we’ve come. We wanted to check ourselves against the gold standard in certification, AGF’s Greener Arena – and see how we measured up. And we’re pleased to have hit the outstanding level. Much or our work is about communication – and showing other clubs and sports what can be achieved – achieving this level of certification will help us do that.
